Google AdSense has recently reported an increase in ad clicks. This comes at the close of the fourth quarter for the company. The increase over the year of 2009 is 17% total, but the increase for the last quarter alone comes in at 13% – which is actually quite impressive considering the fact that the holiday season is always considered to be a slow period during the year. When evaluating the amount of money that was made from 2008 to the year of 2009, it has been estimated that it is 5% more! That is quite impressive if I do say so myself.

Google states that now there are many companies that truly add value and a high quality experience to the internet user’s experience online. As a result, they are working to enhance the relations and rewards to those businesses. The clicks that were experienced in the final quarter of their fiscal year and the earnings that were made through Google AdSense companies during that time were mostly issued to those that added value to Google, Inc. as a whole. Of course, this is the way that I believe it should be. I don’t know about you, but I consider how much work and time I put into my website and internet marketing strategy, I would like to have that sort of recognition too.

In the year of 2008, Google made $21.79 billion. In the year of 2009, their earnings increased by a total of 9%. In total, the company earned $23.65 billion. Currently, Google is working on strategies that will allow individuals to optimize their Google AdSense earnings in the year of 2010. An example of this includes the current video advertising strategies. What do you think? Will Google continue to allow AdSense users to make higher profits in 2010?
