In today’s social media age, blogging has become the fastest growing craze to hit the internet. To blog for money successfully, there are a few things you need to know about. Sure, your website may be getting a significant amount of traffic, but you can always do more to improve the numbers.

Write in your own niche. Start a blog and write one every day, if possible. This will keep your readers up to date on new products or computer programs that are fresh off of the press. This will definitely keep your readers coming back to your website and your blog, mostly out of curiosity. This is a great way to build a solid customer base.

Blend in. If most of your readers are teen age, a more popular and trendy approach will draw them to your website. If a more mature audience is involved, make your content more on the formal side.

Update your blog daily. Use the most up-to-date and fresh news to keep your blog interesting to your readers. Also, remember to use the proper keywords that fit your certain niche – this will keep your readers to stay focused to your content.

I've been blogging for almost a year and still don't have a single follower. Wish I knew what I'm doing wrong! All those "one way conversations" become a big bore after a while!
