Here we are, the 1st of Feb! I had this post ready to go yesterday but forgot to hit the “Publish” button. Based on your feedback to this post:
http://dotcomreport.com/recent-news/we-want-your-vote-do-you-like-the-new-site-design/

we changed the design so if you haven’t voted please do so and let us know what you think.

You REALLY need to read this update as there are some good bits of information here. Make sure you see the topic:
“Google AdWords Features From 2011 You Should Be Using In 2012″

Adwords is a beast to figure out and this will help you.

However, what I really enjoyed was this topic and infographic:
“The Skinny On Google’s Advertising Revenues For 2011″

I really enjoy Infographics and this one is very telling. I would love to know what you think about Adwords and where it’s headed. Please drop me a comment and if you can click to share this post on Twitter and like it on Facebook that would be awesome.

It’s Friday so I’ll keep this short and to the point.

Today I have called this an Adwords and PPC update because I want to bring your attention to the topic:
“A New Reason to Advertise on Bing”

If you haven’t made the move to Bing then you should. One reason I promote Bing is to have another provider of PPC ads other than Google.

Anyway, jump down and take a quick read and as always, please share this post with someone or maybe “Like” it or re-tweet it.

Leave me a comment about your use of Bing…or have you used it? Enjoy the weekend.

Let me call your attention to “Google’s New Freshness Update: Social Media Has Changed the Expectations of Searchers”. You should really check this topic out as Google’s most recent update has really impacted a large number of sites/people/businesses/families/etc…

Did you see any impacts from Google’s recent update?

Now this is how you launch your new social startup [Video]

If Google+ and Facebook met at a party, what would they say to each other? Who would MySpace hang out with? This funny video has the answer:
As you can see, Wydif is the new kid on the social startup block. If you’re still wondering what it is, it stands for “Would You Do It For?” – which perfectly describes what this French startup does…

Google’s New Freshness Update: Social Media Has Changed the Expectations of Searchers

Timing is everything. On Monday, I was asked if I would give a presentation at the Internet Summit 2011 in Raleigh, NC on November 15th and 16th on an advanced SEO topic.
