Apple has done some amazing marketing for their iPhone 4, however, when it comes to the latest antenna reception issue and their recommendation to fix the problem they definitely coming up with a poor solution.

Consumer Reports came out and blasted Apples iPhone 4 and is now recommending that consumers do not purchase the phone.

After testing three different phones it concluded that the signal degradation is real when you put your finger over the gap which is located on the lower left hand side of the phone. This is not good news especially when it comes from Consumer Reports.  Other then the antennae issue Consumer Reports does actually like the iPhone but will not recommend it until this antennae problem is fixed.

Earlier in July claimed that there was nothing wrong with the antennae and that any real reception issues are inexistent and merely a result of faulty displaying on Apple’s part, which it intended on fixing immediately. The fix we are being told by Steve Jobs is to get a case for the phone and or hold the phone a different way or better yet duct tape?

So the question now is do people really not care about this issue or is the antennae problem widespread? Even with the antennae issue and the Consumer Reports comments, the Apple iPhone 4 continues to have record sales.
