Many online marketers rely on web analytics software to track and analyze how well their blog or website is faring when it comes to web traffic. If you are an online marketer who is fond of using the Firefox browser, you may not realize that there is a method available for you to use in order to check your Google Analytics Traffic stats, as often as you would like to do so throughout the day and/or night. The method entails the use of addons for FireFox such as Google Analytics Watcher and the Google Analytics Monitor.

Though the two admittedly have similar names, Google Analytics Watcher and Google Analytics Monitor have different jobs to do. The Google Analytics Watcher addon will show the stats for your website traffic in the status bar of your Firefox browser, any time of day that you choose. What sorts of values can the Google Analytics Watcher show to you? Pageviews, visits, unique visitors, bounces, and new visits are displayed for your convenience.

There is an options window that responds to a right click that will allow you to customize the template and the values that will be shown. You can switch between multiple profiles (though the Google Analytics Watcher only allows one account), and choose the amount of time in between cache refreshes. Hold your mouse over some of the details, and they will appear on-screen for your perusal.

The Google Analytics Monitor does allow the user of this plugin to have more than one account. This analytics software allows the user to choose exactly what data is displayed in the browser status bar. It is also possible to choose the date period that you want to see. Anyone who is interested in keeping up with their stats would be well advised to try one or both of these analytics plugins.
