How Do I Make A Well Designed Enewsletter?

I am a designer, so I know how to make it look good. I am basically looking for easy to use software to help me send out an eNewsletter. I’ve looked at some WYSIWYG newsletter software, but I am not sure if I want to go that route. I know a little bit of HTML, so I’m not opposed to it. I don’t think I want to go the PDF route, but I’m open to hear ideas. Are there any recommendations for an easy way to send out an eNewsletter? Thanks!

First, you probably don’t want to use a lot of HTML. Plain text and ugly is the way to do it. Something with a lot of HTML will not make it through most spam filters. I know you’d like it to look nice, but your best bet is just information in plain text.
Beyond that, just make it informative. People will read and subscribe if you have something that interests them.
