Seo – H2 Tag Before H1?

My website displays category on the top (e.g. Products), then title of that page (e.g. The Cheapest Sony Products).
The thing is, i want to optimise for the title “sony products” (I’m just using sony as an example).
Is it ok if i use h2 tag for the category then h1 tag for title?
I read somewhere that heading tags have to come in order. Is this true? What Is The Seo Opinion Of Interstitial Ads?
Does anyone have any facts or guidance on the SEO impact of using interstitial ads? I agree with the others as it's best to use the tags in order. A H1 tag is the best one to start off with first. I hope your question was answered.
You might be better off using two H1 tags, as strange as that sounds.
If you put the H2 at the top, it's not semantically correct. On the other hand, two H1 tags makes a lot of sense. You can always have 2 equally important headings on a page.
Or, if your category is really just 'products', don't put it in any heading tag at all. It doesn't really lend anything to properly categorizing the page.
Heading tags are generally meant to be in order but they are really for emphasis only. A H1 is considered more important than a H2 or H3. Placement order is not the main factor in their use.
