This is a tough one and a question asked by many. The first thing you should do is get yourself know. Join every network site you can i.e. Facebook, MySpace, etc then start getting a bunch of friends and let them know about your site.
Make sure you have key words on your home page including the name of your company in text form rather than in a jpeg or something.
Create some Squidoo and Hubpages (www.squidoo.com) and HubPages (www.hubpages.com) are sites where you can create pages about your area of experties. Then link from these pages back to your website.
