Google recently added a new feature to the checkout process that allows merchants to offer their customers promotions. This new feature is open to merchants in the U.S. only right now.

 

If you want to create a promotion for your customers simply log into your merchant checkout account and go to tools. Then click on the promotion link. Google says it should take less than a minute to create your promotion.

 

You can specify how long the promotion is to run for and the date you would like it to start. They are offering numerous dollar off discounts you can offer to your customers. When you offer a promotion to your customers the checkout button is automatically updated to show the discount offered.

 

Promotions are a great way to attract new customers, and also a great way of getting repeat shoppers. With the holiday season quickly approaching this new promotional feature will be a great tool to use to get customers into your store.
