A few short years ago, very few people had computers and only the elite carried cell phones in their pocket. One look around the streets of any city or small town will tell you that times they are a changing. Today nearly, everyone in the USA has internet service and most people have cellular phones, in fact, more and more people are relying on their mobile phone as their primary communication device. Internet, mobile phones and Google are all coming together to increase profit potential for affiliate marketers. If you know anything about marketing online, you are already somewhat familiar with the Google program Adsense. You make money through relevant ads placed around the content you devise. Just when you thought Google could not dominate anymore than they already do, Adsense has gone mobile in a big way.

Recently released by Google is Adsense for the Iphone and Android phones. Long story short these smart phones will now be able to display full text ads from adsense! Before, cell phone screens were tiny and Adsense ads were displayed in much smaller, but now that technology has provided consumers with big LCD screens on their cell phones, Google is taking full advantage for advertising.

Will this give a big jump in potential sales for advertisers? It is apparent that Google believes so; otherwise, they would not have jumped on the bandwagon. They have even included the ability to detect whether the user on the other end is surfing with a high-end smart phone or smaller device, this way they can tailor the ads accordingly.

It may take some time to see if this is going to be the next sales revolution. One thing is certain, computers are getting smaller and people are getting busier so the idea of individuals making purchases from their cell phone on lunch break with their phone is not farfetched.
