The Google AdWords program recently announced that it is now adding two new ad types to their program. These additions are being called “AdWords Comparison Ads” and “Ad Sitelinks”. Those that implement Google AdWords for their website marketing campaign are relatively happy about the recent additions to the program. On the advertisements that are identified as “Comparison”, it will be easy for those that use the program to compare a large assortment of offers that are created and provided by numerous advertisers. I believe that this will be beneficial in that it offers users a large variety of advertisements to choose from instead of the same, traditional ones that have been circulating for a while now.

The new advertisement types referred to as “Ad Sitelinks” targets those that wish to engage in “high-end” advertising. When these ads are placed on a particular website, they may be designed to cover many deeper levels. Now, users may place up to ten “deep links” within one advertisement which makes it possible for interested “clickers” to delve deeper into the campaigns. Now, website owners will be able to use the advertisements to promote very popular pages within their website, free offers, promotional offers, and several other areas of interest.

All in all, I feel that it was time for a change with the Google AdWords program. Individuals that use advertisements on their website need more variety and higher levels of functionality. If website owners use both the comparison ad feature and the site link feature, they are likely to discover that their website is more successful and ranks higher in search engines – particularly Google.
