In recent news, Google made a big announcement concerning the fact that they will start showing business related information in mobile advertisements that pertain to certain locations. These ads are intended to target specific businesses within a certain area. These advertisements are going to be incorporated into today’s technologically advanced Smartphone systems on the market. While this may not seem too exciting, the truly exciting feature is that those that use these phones will be able to click directly on the advertisement sponsored by Google AdWords in order to call the business directly!

If you are an internet marketer that has a part in the pay-per-click advertisements through Google AdWords, this is actually wonderful news for you! Whenever a Smartphone user clicks on one of the targeted location advertisements in order to call that business it is considered to be a lead that is “relevant” in basis. This means that the people that click on the advertisements may, in fact, become a customer. It has been determined that Google will implement the information retrieved from GPS technology to determine where a search originated from in a HTML browser. In turn, this will deliver more targeted advertisements based on the location of that user. Isn’t technology amazing?

If you are a Google AdWords participant, be certain to ensure that you set up your campaign in such a way that it actually focuses on sending ads to phones that have HTML browsers.
