Google is serious when they talk about speeding up the web. They have introduced tools for you to use to speed up your website. There is now talks of page rank being affected by how fast or slow your site loads.

People are busy. They want the information they are looking for to be fast and accurate. They don’t have time to wait around while a page loads on your website. They will leave and find another site that loads faster.

 

If you want people to spend time on your site you need to have your pages loading quickly. If you do not know how to do this, hire someone that does understand what needs to be done.
