From the sounds of the latest Google video, Google is doing everything they can to help you get more traffic. This includes them helping to choose which is the best title and snippet to be shown in the search results. If Google thinks they have a better title for the pages on your website they are going to change it. They want to give readers the best description and title to describe what your site is about.
What do you think of Google changing titles and snippets for your website? Do you think this is helping to get more traffic to your site?
Hi all
It seems to me the giant’s wars has started, with google helping us to get more traffic that’s really great as I run a small business online, but the question is what is the catch? Is this changes will get more traffic, is this changes the way SEO work for our benefits or will only work for the top paying customers, this changes will evolve a lot of question marks around the subject, that will get google in spot light again good on you google, but what I hope that google with these changes spread the benefit for everyone not only the people how can pay top Dollars for their service , lets site back and watch what will happen next, a Special thank you for Dotcom for keeping us in the loop.
It sounds a good idea in theory, to have someone mess with your titles, hmmm..I would want to see it in action first.
Why are Google being so helpful?
not sure really, dont know enough about it but I found the video interesting.
