In the beginning days of Bing, things looked a little gloomy. Not too many were using the search engine created by Microsoft and there was little hope that it would become anything with much success at all. Often hailed as the “Decision Engine” on the internet, some amazing statistics were recently released stating that out of all the search engines on the internet, Bing handled an amazing 12.5% of the searches that internet users conducted in the month of February 2010. This statistic indicates that the searches that this search engine has increased 3% since launching in 2009!

 

Microsoft has been working to take the lead in the search engine market. As a matter of fact, it has established a partnership with the company Yahoo in order to increase its overall popularity and the features it provides to internet users. Google is and likely always will be the internet guru when it comes to the internet, but there is no doubt that Bing will earn an honorable place among regular internet users. Which do you prefer?
