GetGlue, the social network for entertainment and sharing, which allows users to check-in and rate things to discover new favorites, and see what their friends like, is now available for the iPad.
This release comes a few weeks after the application for GetGlue on the Andriod was released, and two months after the application was made available for the iPhone.
The iPad application functions in the same ways as the other new releases do; allowing users to check-in to their favorite TV shows, movies and music; share their check-ins with friends; and get personalized suggestions based on their interests. The app also lets users earn points and stickers from GetGlue and its brand sponsors, motivating users to check-in whenever possible.
Early feedback users are finding the application much easier to use on the iPad based solely on the screen size. The iPad's more generous screen size allows users to view check-ins easier and encourages them to browse around the site longer.
GetGlue is forming new partnerships, the latest being with Fox, meaning that even more users will want to access their GetGlue accounts while on the go to check-in to their favorite fall television shows.
